Lego Man

Boop loves Legos.  I am not sure if there are many boys his age who don't.  He will play by himself for quite some time.  Building and rebuilding.  He will get a set, build it and a couple days later take it apart and build something totally different.

It drives daddy crazy that he doesn't keep the pieces to each set together.  Boop loves to make the original toy but then he also loves to make his own thing.  That is one of the things I love about Legos.  He can learn to follow directions but then also be creative.

One of Boop's friend's older sister had a contest.  She had each boy build an airplane.  She gave them rules and guidelines and then at last week's book club they had a contest.  She judged the planes and Boop won!  He was so excited.

It was such a cute idea and the boys were good sports.  He is looking forward to the next contest  . . .
