Boop and the Game Ball

This year Boop won the game ball twice!  He is such a great sport.  He tries hard and he listens to the coach.  The coach nicknamed him "Yup, yup" because no matter what the coach said to him or asked him to do he always said yes.  I can't tell you how many people came up to daddy and me at our end of the year party to comment on Boop's manners and smile and sportsmanship and attitude.  It makes a mama and papa proud!

This picture is of the second time he won the game ball.  The opposing team was a bunch of players short.  If they didn't have enough players they would have to forfeit the game and the kids would not get to play.  When our team was done in the outfield and it was our turn to bat, the coach went to Boop and asked if he would play in the outfield for the other team.  Missing his turn to bat.  Boop said yes immediately without hesitation.

Boop was such a great example of sportsmanship.  I was so proud.  He went in the outfield with the other team and played just as hard.  The coach recognized him with the game ball for his selflessness.
