Grandma is Here

She and CoCo arrived safely early yesterday evening. It must have been a hoot the two of them driving up from down south! We are all glad they made it safely and in pretty good time too.

The kids are so excited to have Grandma here. She has always wanted us to set up Skype while we are doing school. Now she can actually sit with us during our school day.

Grandma's doc appointment yesterday was not as encouraging as her initial one last week. The new doc said she could possibly be in a knee brace for 6-8 weeks. And, if she bends it a lot, it could need surgery. Out for 3 months. (Please don't bend your knee, please don't bend your knee!)

Her next appointment is in 3 weeks, so, I guess, we will go from there. Anyway, in the meantime, she is folding our socks . . .
