Last Full Day at the Beach

Our only goal on Sunday was to spend most of the day at the beach.

We also had this wonderful idea to have a worship service once we got all set up.  Each family played a part.  We had praise and worship, a time of thanksgiving, a little Bible teaching and prayer.  It was so awesome.  All three families under a tent praising, thanking, learning about, meditating on God.  Right in the middle of the service we looked out over the water and saw a couple of dolphin.  The whole service was spectacular from beginning to end.

Daddy and daughter time.  EG was fearless.  She managed to get out to her daddy all on her own.  I was in the water, watching the waves come in, sure she would get knocked over before she got out to the sandbar.  But she made it.  She absolutely loves the water.

All the kids had a great time riding their boogie boards.  The waves were perfect for learning.  A couple of the kids caught pretty good waves and were able to ride them for a bit.

The boys were out numbered but they had a great time.  Swimming, building in the sand, finding sea life and throwing the ball around.

Little sponges.  Always learning.  Each of the kids just loves to see new things.  Thanks to Mr. B., they got to see a ghost crab up close and personal.  We saw ghost crabs, sting rays, a shark, dolphin, sand fleas, sand dollars and little fish.  Not to mention a couple different types of birds.

We stayed there most of the day.  And, thankfully, not one kid got sunburned . . .
