Part Two of Day Two

The Beach.  We were within walking distance to the beach which was really cool.  After our tour of the fort and lunch but before the 17 of us were going out for dinner, we were able to get our suits on and go for a little swim.

Boogie boards were a big hit.  And so was all the sea life.  We saw a shark, dolphin, sting rays, little jelly fish, ghost crabs, sand fleas, and sand dollars and all kinds of birds.

There were little waves and a great breeze.  When the tide was out, it was never over the kids' heads unless they went too far out.  About half way out was a great sandbar where the water was up to my ankles.

Fun, yet safe.  My kind of trip to the beach . . .
