More Tent Camping Fun

We had a great time on our second full day.  There was so much to do that day.  We happen to be at the park on the day of their annual fund raiser.  It was a fall festival with a cake walk and square dancing.  At the end of the day they had a trunk or treat.  The pictures are a little out of order again because I have borrowed some of my friends.

The littles traveled like this quite a bit!

Little friends.

This is the view of the lake at the campground.

If you look real hard you can see a black kind of "hole" in the top of the mountain in the center of the picture.  That is where we had lunch the day before!

I love this picture!

These are some really, really special kids in our lives!  They are cute and fun and sweet!  It just warms my heart looking them!  We truly have been blessed with all of these kids and their parents.

Boop and his new toy.  All of the boys got a sling shot.  And they had a blast shooting just about everything.

Even the big boys got into the action.

The view were so beautiful.  If we ever were to retire, I know where I want to go!!

Yet, another hike.  This one was just around the lake with a little side trip to a falls.

Thinking this might be our annual family Christmas picture this year!  Love, love, love my family!!  And so thankful we get to have these experiences together.

Our little Saturday hike.

The little falls on our hike.  This area has a lot of waterfalls.

EG pushing her viewing pleasure to the extreme.  No, she did not get her head caught.  (Although when she did a similar thing in a wrought iron fence in Savannah it did get caught.)

Another picture of just the two of us.  I need to print this off and frame it.  A picture of the two of us is so rare!

Pictures from the cake walk.  It was a fund raiser for the state park.  Out of 30 entrants our gang had at least 14.  The odds of us winning a cake the first time around were pretty darn good.

Sure enough, little G won!  We were able to win one more after that.  The kids had a great time!

The little girls square dancing.

All the others dancing and having a great time!  The weather was beautiful and the music lively.

The little girls trying to turn daddy into the scarecrow.

This was some type of square dance.  It was way to involved for me!

Saturday night around the campfire we had a great time of praise and worship and story and joke telling.  The dad in the green t-shirt above  plays the guitar and he and is wife sing.  So, around the campfire we all sang a bunch of worship songs that we were all familiar with.  Then the dads took turns telling childhood stories and some pretty funny jokes.  We had such a great time.

A perfect ending to a perfect day . . .
