Picture Time!

Our stop for lunch at Chick-fil-A.  It was so nice we sat outside for a little bit.

Virginia.  It seriously is the largest state ever.  I thought we would never leave it.  So, when we stopped for a potty break it was imperative to me to see where we were.  The kids were embarrassed that I wanted our picture in front of the map.

Daddy's favorite store.  We were just outside Gettysburg where we had stayed the night.  I have to admit, the store was kind of fun to shop in.  Different nature scenes throughout the store.  Live fish to feed and watch.

The family.

The statue outside the store.

And, the most amazing view ever from a parking lot.  I just couldn't get over the hills and mountains and trees.

For the rest of our drive to my sister-in-laws, the scenery was just like this.  It was kind of strange, because on some parts of the trip, the leaves were already changing color.  Vibrant reds, oranges and yellows and then in some places they were still green.  It would kind of alternate.  Not sure if it was because of elevation or temperature or type of tree or the placement of the sun.  Guess we will have to study that . . .
