Yesterday was hubby's 45th birthday. He had to work during the day and had a detail at night so we tried to make it as special as we could. When he got home between shifts we had his cards and his present. A new bike! It was sitting in the driveway when he pulled up.
He said it was a total surprise. Thanks Alex for helping us out!
He treated himself to Sonny's on his way back to work. Then the kids and I got him ice cream and hot fudge to eat for when he got home.
We are continuing the celebration today by helping clean out the garage. Sort of. And then dinner and cake with Sissy and Alex tonight. They bought him a really cool deluxe basket to grill his veggies from the garden. And some great sauces and spices for the chef.
