Today

Was the first day in a really long time, it seems, that we had nothing to do! It was great! The kids slept in as long as they wanted (everyone was up by 7:30 except NG who I woke at 8:30.)

Leisurely breakfast. Morning chores. Math. And that was it!

Daddy has done the yard. Is finishing the garage. The big girls are playing with the neighbor girl.

During "naptime" LM and Boop and I went to farmer's market, of sorts, and got a lot of fresh fruits and a couple of fresh veggies. It was kind of cool. We are hoping to make that trip part of our weekly shopping. Or, at least, bi-weekly.

Tonight's dinner is in the oven, whole chicken injected with some of hubby's special mixture, grilled corn on the cob (using his new basket) and roasted red potatoes. Left over birthday cake for dessert.

Such a nice, relaxing summer vacation day . . .
